I need people to understand that roe vs wade being overturned is an act of violence, voting is not an combative equivalent to what they just did, their decision was made without public input meaning voting did not have any effect on the violence they settled on, these decisions can only be met with violence in return, you cannot “peacefully” ask someone for your rights back when they violently stripped them away, nonviolence would only work if this were an even playing field, where everyone’s opinion matters, but that’s not reality, so getting on here and yelling at people to vote blue is disrespectful, this country has committed atrocities under democrat reign and it will continue to do so until the people hold officials accountable, a piece of paper won’t do that, a riot and actual threats to their livelihoods will

heres a quote from civil rights leader kwame ture, that relates to the subject of liberation in america, he said this in the 1960s

image

“In order for nonviolence to work, your opponent must have a conscience. The United States has none…”

“…. We have to organize ourselves to speak from a position of strength and stop begging people to look kindly upon us”

i just want people to really think about this, during this time period is when the most change regarding how america functioned took place, and it was in the wake of no longer accepting peace as an option for gaining rights, while the “fall” of civil rights groups can be attributed to many causes, make no mistake that the absence of unity from citizens enacting violence for the benefit of the population has allowed wiggle room for things like this to happen, a paper choosing red or blue cannot be the sole solution to what we’re facing, because it hasn’t been that way from the start

roe vs wade has officially been overturned, leaving the states california, colorado, Connecticut, delaware, hawaii , Illinois, maine, maryland, Massachusetts, nevada, NJ, NYC, Washington, oregon, rhode Island, vermont and DC to be the only states that still currently allow and protect abortion rights

here is a link to the “need an abortion” organization that can help with funds or travels to safe states for those who are unwillingly conceiving or miscarrying, as well as sources for stable birth control

and here is the link to the national abortion fund organization

if you are going to donate please only do it toward orgs that directly support people in need of reproductive health care, donot waste your pennies toward politicians especially toward democrats who are using this nightmare to fund themselves and their campaigns while not taking action, get into the streets

get angry, this country is approaching fascism, quickly, and for those who are unaware the uptick of anti trans bills / laws is connected to this, the supreme court is already discussing reconsidering laws that protect interracial marriage, gay marriage and gay sex, if you think this doesn’t pertain to you or you won’t be effected bc you don’t have a uterus you are gravely mistaken, all of this shit is interlocked

get into the streets, today, now, we don’t have the option of sitting around anymore, the government was violent first when they took away our rights, we need to retaliate in a meaningful way, now.

If the Gods didn’t want us to say weird shit they shouldn’t have blessed us with the power of speech.

I’m sure that having protestors outside their house must be uncomfortable for Supreme Court Justices, perhaps even something they wish they could get rid of. But they’ve already made their decision, and now must bring it to term. Maybe this wouldn’t be happening to them if they had been a little more responsible with their earlier behavior.
